Cultural Arts Assembly - More than Karate

Owner of Okinawa Karate Dojo, Stanley Crump, will be joining our Northfield Students for a Cultural Arts Experience on Friday, March 28. Students will learn the history of karate as a form of self-defense as well as a pathway to character development. Aspects of Chinese and Japanese culture will be highlighted while engaging students in a unique, mixed-media presentation and demonstration. Permission forms are now required for in school assemblies. Forms have already been sent home. Please sign and return to your student's homeroom teacher by Wednesday, March 26.
