Our community thrives because of the dedicated individuals who lend their time and talents. We are currently seeking volunteers for several key roles that help our organization run smoothly and effectively. Whether you have a few hours a month or prefer a short-term project, there is a place for you here! Check out our current openings!

Join us for a magical adventure as the NES PTA Drama Club proudly presents Disney’s Aladdin, Jr.! Our talented student performers will bring the beloved story to life with colorful costumes, lively music, and unforgettable characters. Come cheer on our cast as they journey through the streets of Agrabah, discover the power of friendship, and make wishes come true. This is a family-friendly performance you won’t want to miss! Get ready for our spring 2026 book fair! It will be 3/16 - 3/23 and our family night will be 3/16 from 4-7pm. Volunteers are needed each day to help our media specialists. Morning volunteers will help get everything ready for the day and help grades 3-5 with checkout. Afternoon volunteers will help grades k-2 shop and check out. All students will have the opportunity to shop during their Media class. Sign-up to help out!

Picture Day is coming soon! To order spring photos, you must return the flyer/order envelope on Picture Day. Online pre-ordering is NOT available for spring photos – the envelope must be returned on Picture Day. Class group photos will be taken on Picture Day for all students. For individual portraits, only students who bring in their envelopes on Picture Day will be photographed. Please look for the flyer/order envelope that will be sent home with your child soon! We look forward to seeing your smiles soon on Picture Day!

Ice cream season is here, and it’s the perfect excuse to clear a little freezer space! We’re teaming up with Taharka Brothers to support our PTA and a local Baltimore business. Orders are open April 6 through April 13 at 11:00 PM—use code NORTHFIELD26 for April 16 home delivery! 🍦

Come learn about countries and communities near and far represented by our beautiful NES students and families at this year's Taste of Northfield on Friday, April 10th, 2026 (6:30-8:30pm)! There will be musical and dance performances, food, families, and fun! We will have an amazing spread and representation of our community. Register here! We are so grateful for our incredible teachers and staff at Northfield! To show our appreciation, Kindergarten families will be hosting the April Staff Sprinkle on April 10th with a Blooming with Gratitude springtime lunch. Our annual STEAM Fair is coming on Tuesday, April 28th. This is a chance to show your scientific curiosity and creativity by presenting your own research project! So grab your lab coat, notebook and your sense of wonder and join us in creating SCIENCE. Sign up is open until April 10th.Questions STEM@northfieldpta.org
